The Navy Gold Star Program is eternally grateful for the sacrifice of those Service Members who have died in service to our country. To help us to never forget, we have set up this tribute page to honor and remember the memory of those lives. CPO Rice dedicated his life to serving his country in the United States Navy. He served on the USS Philadelphia, USS Louisiana, and the USS Hampton during his 19 years of service. CPO Rice loved his job and was respected by many. His service to our country will never be forgotten.
