“Forever Loved, Never Forgotten”

The Navy Gold Star Program is eternally grateful for the sacrifice of those Service Members who have died in service to our country. To help us to never forget, we have set up this tribute page to honor and remember the memory of those lives. If you would like to honor the memory of your Sailor, Soldier, Marine, Airman or Coast Guardsman through the Navy Gold Star website please submit your thoughts and a photo.

Christopher was born in New Haven,Ct. raised in Wallingford,Ct. He joined the nave in 2008. His military job was Hull Tech. Christopher helped keep the ship in top condition. He had a variety of duties with the ship board structure including metal work. (He was also a firefighter). Christopher wanted to be a mechanic when he grew up. He had a black cat Jinx and a dog(Akita) Niki. His hobbies were, Baseball, football, basketball, bowling, skateboarding and wrestling with his 2 brothers John and Bobby. He had an older sister Sheila. He was the youngest of four. At the time of his passing he had 2 boys Damien and Xavier. Christopher had a work ethic where his focus and determination was truly amazing to witness. He was also intelligent, super full of energy with an extremely competitive spirit. He loved hanging out and doing stuff with his brothers. Even though he was the youngest and smallest he always tried his hardest. He was also very funny, a jokester. He loved to make those around him laugh. As an adult he brought new meaning to working out with weights. He was dedicated to staying fit. As a child he lived to build things, anything… he would put together cardboard boxes with duct tape. When it snowed he would build his own little city in our backyard making igloos. He had a heck of an imagination. He would wrestle with his brothers and put holes in the walls and ceiling of his room and cover them up with posters. His smile was infectious and he was always fun to be around. He is and always will be loved and missed by so many. Gail (Mom)
